Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Effective date: SEPT 2026
Welcome to gregorylawfirm.us. This website is owned and operated by Gregory Law Firm, P.C. By visiting this site, using its forms, registering for a webinar, or contacting us through it, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This site is information, not legal advice
Everything on this website is general information about estate planning, mediation, and arbitration. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for talking with an attorney about your own situation.
Estate planning law changes, and it varies by state. Information that is accurate today may not be accurate tomorrow, and information that fits one family may be wrong for yours. Please do not act or refrain from acting based on anything you read here without first speaking with a qualified attorney.
Using this site does not make us your lawyers
No attorney-client relationship is created by visiting this website, reading our articles, downloading a checklist, attending a webinar, or sending us a message through a form or email address listed here.
An attorney-client relationship with Gregory Law Firm, P.C. begins only after we have checked for conflicts of interest, agreed to represent you, and you have signed a written engagement agreement with the firm. Until all of that has happened, we are not your lawyers and we are not acting on your behalf.
Please do not send us confidential information yet
Because no attorney-client relationship exists until we have a signed engagement agreement, any information you send us before that point may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
If you have a time-sensitive legal matter, call our office rather than relying on a web form or email. And please hold back sensitive details until we have confirmed that we are able to represent you.
Where we are licensed
Steven P. Gregory is admitted to practice in Alabama and Tennessee. This website is not an offer to represent anyone in a state where the firm is not licensed to practice.
Attorney advertising
This website may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of some states. No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.
Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Every case and every family is different.
Text messages and email from us
If you give us your phone number, whether through a form on this site, a webinar registration, or in conversation, you agree that we may contact you by call and by text message at that number about your inquiry, your appointment, or an event you signed up for.
A few things to know:
- Message frequency varies
- Message and data rates may apply
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time
- Reply HELP for help, or call our office at (205) 208-0312
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
- We do not sell or share your phone number or your consent to receive messages with third parties for their own marketing
Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email, and unsubscribing from email does not opt you out of texts. You can ask us to stop either one at any time and we will honor it.
Webinars and events
We offer webinars and educational events from time to time. Registering for one gives us permission to send you reminders and follow-up information about that event.
Webinars are general education, not legal advice, and attending one does not make us your lawyers. Sessions may be recorded. If you attend, you may be visible or audible in that recording.
We may need to reschedule or cancel an event, and we will tell registrants as soon as we can if that happens.
Your privacy
How we collect and handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
